| Who
we are and what we want |
We
would like to pursue a project working with people who prefer
tranquility and who like to try to appreciate the things
we appreciate, see the things we see and love what we love.
We would like the people to be congenial, and that they
can leave from here sufficiently satisfied for them to be
able to recommend us to friends and even come back themselves.
The service we offer can't be categorized as rural tourism
because our house is located in the historical center. The
space we offer isn't a boarding house or an aparthotel because
it isn't a hotel either, it is more a space where people
have a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, their
own space but all of the above integrated in a family home.We
will lend bicycles to people so that they will be able to
do little excursions. however, we need to make a little
money as well, so we present a list of products where we
will be the guide, the storyteller, the cook, the travelling
companion should you require any of the above mentioned
services. We don't do packages but all products at the listed
prices so that the clients themselves can decide what it
is they would like to experience.
Our
names are Quim and Ginja, we are both Portuguese and we
speak French, English and Spanish apart from portuguese.
We have friends all over the world, which we enjoy and we
like to share what we have and love with others. this is
why we have started this little project of ours, here in
our little corner of the world.
You
take the A1, commonly known as the motorway of the
Nord. After having passed the exit "Vila Franca",
you leave the motorway at the exit for the A10, "Benavente"
and "Algarve", you traverse the bridge over
the Tagus and the plains and you get off at the exit
which indicates "Benavente". travel through
Benavente always following the road, and the next
little town is salvaterra de Magos.
Arriving
at a roundabout with a bullring, you turn left where
it says "center" and "Escaroupim".
You go straight down the road until you find on your
left a medical center called "Regimagos"
and an old school. Having arrived there, you turn
right into our street and look for no. 29, La Travessa
Joao Gomes.

da Agricultura . 6 a 14 de Junho [Santarém]
A maior feira de agricultura do país. Vacas,
porcos, ovelhas e cabras com fartura, alfaias e cheiro
a estrume...
Feira da Gastronomia . Outubro [Santarém]
Comer e beber até cair de não poder
mais com tanta coisa boa de toda a parte do país!
Festa de Salvaterra . 13 a 22 de
Junho
Largadas de toiros, festa durante uma semana e bebedeira
alargada de uns dias para os outros.
Festa de Coruche . Maio [Coruche]
Quem quiser provar carnes bravas, ou seja, de gado
bravo, é aqui.
Festa da Glória . 22 a 25
de Agosto [Glória do Ribatejo]
Uma das melhores festas da região no que diz
respeito à programação de espectáculos.
Geralmente para todos os gostos.
Tasquinhas de Almeirim . 13 a 21
de Junho [Almeirim]
Comer e beber saudavelmente ao ar livre, enquanto
a ASAE não fechar aquilo tudo por falta de
preservativos à volta do pão e das bifanas!
Festa de Benavente . Junho [Benavente]
Sardinha assada e vinho tinto distribuidos gratuitamente.
O cheiro a sardinha demora mais ou menos uma semana
para sair de nós e o vinho tinto é carrascão
como se quer. Uma experiência única na
vida.
Mês da Enguia . 1 a 30 de Março
[Salvaterra de Magos]
É neste mês que há mais abundância
de enguias, consequentemente os restaurantes do concelho
de Salvaterra cozinham-nas de todas as formas e feitios.
Há umas quantas formas muito interessantes,
para além do tradicional ensopado ou fritas
com arroz de feijão.
Equimagos . Outubro [Salvaterra de
Magos]
Feira de cavalos e toiros. Exposição
de éguas, leilão de equinos, largadas
de toiros. Come-se um bom torricado de bacalhau.
Toiradas
Há bastantes ao longo de todo o eixo que se
estende entre Samora Correia e Chamusca.
Concurso Nacional de Vinhos Engarrafados
. 12 a 15 de Maio [Cartaxo]
Há bons e maus, mas cada vez mais bons. Muito
interessante.
Concurso Nacional de Azeite Virgem Extra e
Packaging . 18 de Maio
Os azeites agora provam-se como os vinhos. Nas notas
de prova há cores, odores, corpo,texturas e
sabores prolongados. Como nos vinhos. Venha aprender
a provar.
